Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://rpa-connect.gitbook.io/rpa-connect/en-us/administration/integration-with-microsoft-entra-id/synchronization-authorization.md).

# Synchronization Authorization

When a new environment is enabled, it is first necessary to authorize synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID by providing administrator consent.

To begin, a user with global administrator permissions in Entra ID must access the URL <https://app.rpaconnect.io/Account/AdminConsen?tenantid=\\><tenantid> (where ***\<tenantid>*** is the ID of the environment where the process will be performed) and authenticate.

After authentication, the following window will appear, displaying the necessary permissions to establish synchronization. Click ***Accept*** to proceed.

Once this step is successfully completed, a confirmation message will appear notifying that the consent has been accepted, and the connection will be authorized. This will create access to the RPA Connect application in Entra ID and also allow users to log in to the RPA Connect application with their corporate accounts.

To do this, remember to select the option “Sign in with your work account” when accessing the platform, as we saw in the [Quick Start](/rpa-connect/en-us/form-design/readme.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://rpa-connect.gitbook.io/rpa-connect/en-us/administration/integration-with-microsoft-entra-id/synchronization-authorization.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
